This was my first attempt at a 24 hour looped event, and I will definitely be back to this one. The organisation was excellent and the whole race ran smoothly from what I could see.

Plenty of food/tailwind/water/juice etc. were available through the whole race at the start point. A large marquee was set up for runners, and there was tent space available for the teams behind the marquee too. A nice touch was that the uncrewed runners were placed directly next to the aid station, and volunteers would regularly walk through the marquee checking us and offering to grab food etc rather than keep getting up.

The country park is very nice, and I didn't get bored at all with the same scenery. The park was open to the public at the same time, and they were great with us going past all day, no problems at all.

Phil and Jen put on another great event, they both were there the whole time handing out food, checking we were ok and cheering us on. The volunteers were excellent, there was nothing they couldn't do for us, and there was a great party atmosphere the whole time.

I can easily see myself doing this again and again.

Absolutely amazing event, incredibly well organised and run, the volunteers were brilliant and always to hand if needed, only possible negatives i can think of is there were only 3 toilets and parking was a bit of a trek after such a long run, aside from that it was amazing and il definitely be coming back next year

Another incredible event from Embrace Ultra.
Jen & Phil organised a perfect event that was aimed at every possible level and ability of runner or walker. Whether it was a walker covering as far as they could in the time limit, a beginner runner wanting to see what they are capable of completing or an elite level runner wanting to complete mind blowing distances this event had you covered.
A totally inclusive event where everyone was made to feel like a superstar by the incredible group of supportive volunteers and supporters of other runners, who clapped and cheered for the whole 24 hours.
The venue was picturesque, clean and safe. The route was hard packed gravel trail with a section of tarmac. We were blessed with the weather this year but if it had have turned the course would have remained immaculate and would not have fallen apart.
The aid station had an huge choice of fuelling options and those that had dietary requirements were well covered as well as there were vegetarian and gluten free options. The volunteers who manned the station had this down with F1 levels of speed and precision but there was never any pressure to be in and out as quick as possible and if people wanted to stop and rest or just have chat that was totally acceptable and welcomed.
The atmosphere couldn’t have been better and was so friendly. The fist bumps, high fives and well dones from everyone at every level was special. As someone who doesn’t look like a classical runner this support was special as it made me feel I was included and allowed to be there. We were a big family this weekend and everyone came away knowing more people than when they arrived.
There are so many superlatives that can describe the weekend but I think, a perfect celebration of runners and running is very fitting.
A huge done to everyone. This was definitely my favourite event. Can’t wait for next year.

Signed up 2 weeks before having never ran further than 26k so was nervous/excited to see what I could achieve and I am so glad we signed up. Phil/Jen and all the volunteers were just amazing and kept up going cheering us every lap. The comradery between runners while waiting around in camp or out there getting it done really kept us going when things felt tough. Nothing but positives from this event, so well organised, we had the best time. See you in 2027!

A big thank you to Phil and Jen for organising this race. I enjoyed it so much more than expected and thats because of the great atmosphere, participants, organisation and volunteers. I look forward to hopefully doing it again next year !

This event was the best event I’ve ever done it was extremely well organised and the volunteers were incredible throughout the 24 hr relay always cheering runners on day and night and ensured everyone was doing ok and supplied vast amounts of food and drink, can’t thank them enough! The event itself is a beautiful lap around the lakes which is gorgeous especially in the sunset/sunrise stage and is almost entirely flat with minimal elevation. It was definitely a hot one this year but is perfect for runners of all calibre and beginner friendly, the support you get from other runners is amazing. If you are doing this next year at the lakes I’ll 100% be returning with my team!

I was a last minute entry (stalking the weather, as knew it was gonna be warm) and glad I signed up. Conditions were hot out there, but the 2.5km loop meant you were never far from a supportive bunch of volunteers and fuelling. It was like a F1 pitstop at times, the crew were so attentive to whatever you needed.

Definitely a great event if you're chasing a PB as it's basically flat!

Every runner is so well supported by the crew, they were on hand throughout the 24hrs with lots of energy to help you along. Good vibes from everyone, even the timing guys were having a party (sublime timings) and were awesome. My first ever Ultra and I have never felt so welcome. My son did the 24 hours and supporting him and the other runners for the remainder was incredible- brilliant atmosphere, support and I am so grateful to Phil, the volunteers and all the runners for the fabulous energy and ongoing support to all - I can’t wait for the next one

Amazing event that was so well organised with endless food and drink for the runners. So much encouragement from runners, organisers and helpers. The Marshalls and helpers were incredible. It was my first ultra and it was the perfect one to do. I loved being a part of it.

Absolutely brilliant event, atmosphere was great, checkpoint was great, Marshalls/volunteers were amazing.
